All I can remember is a scene, where a girl goes into a pub but it's out in the country - then she goes into the back room where there are a crowd of men some sat on haystacks and some playing on a pinball machine.
Anyway one of the guys flirts with the girl and gets her on the pinball machine and starts having sex with her, but then it all goes wrong as other men in the room start raping her, holding her down and taking it in turns. There is one lad in the room who sees everything but is too scared.
Later the girl goes to court and she has a battle to get the lad to own up to everything that happened.
This is all I know. Does anyone remember this film?

Not only does Katherine Murphy want to go after the men who commited the rape, she wants to go after the men in the bar who cheered it on. But Katherine has her work cut out for her. Her client has a past, and that past could be used against her in court.

How ironic - I remember this movie as well and I think the girl has the same characteristics as Jodi Foster - I saw this movie a long time ago when I was a little girl and it really bothered me to the point where I still think of it to this day and I was wondering the name myself. The only hint I can help with is the song that was playing was Guns -n- Roses welcome to the jungle. It took me years to like this song again. I am gonna keep checking on the anwers to see if anyone knows the title.

Its a Jodie Foster movie from about 20 years ago but I don't remember the name. Go on her website or some entertainment website and look are her previous movies and you will find it. I thought it happened in Boston though but the other facts you describe are that movie that she did.
