Advantages - no glasses, being able to see even out of the corners of your eyes, less annoying, no cleaning during the day.
Disadvantages - can be irritating, and if you get something stuck on the lens during the day and you have no contact solution you are in trouble! Can also dry out your eyes if you have sensitive eyes.
Once you get used to contacts there are very few disadvantages. I actually have 30 day sleep-in contacts that I wear for 30 days and nights without taking them out! Almost like i had LASIK - they are the most amazing contacts I have ever tried and would recommend them to everyone.

Some advantages include you don't have to match your wardrobe to you contacts as you would or may have to with frames.Another is you don't have to worry about the contact lenses fogging up on you when you come in from the cold. Some of the disadvantages are you have to remember to take your contacts out and you need special eye drops for them (contact friendly drops) if you eyes start to feel dry. And the major disadvantage to them you are poking around your eyeballs to put them in and you MUST make sure that you get the correct lens in the proper eye or you won't see correctly

Yes, but don't get contacts thinking that they are somehow going to replace glasses. Use them once in a while for certain events. As you use them, you can make that determination. Keep the glasses and trade back and forth. Your eyes need to rest and heal now and then. Contacts, despite what you have heard, will dry out. It is not a pleasant feeling. I say get them and keep the glasses as well.

adv
- no need to be constantly pushing your glasses up
- no wiping
- no fog on your lens..when you leave a cold room to a hotter place
- won't drop or fall out if you're doing something hardcore like tumbling or cartwheels or exercise/dance
- won't look nerdy (if you have thick lenses)
- i could think of a million more....
dis advantages
- when you drop it it's frikkin annoying to find especially when you're practically half blind, groping on the floor for the tiny piece of lens
- you have to buy contact solution each month (depending on how fast you use them)..so it is a constant investment
- you shouldn't sleep with them on..your eyes will be red and very very VERY dry when you wake up
- irritating when your eyes are dry
- can be a hassle to put them on every morning.. but then it is just like putting on makeup and girly routines

Well you have more natural vision with contacts...not to mention that you look much better with them than with glasses.
My own personal cons are as follows:
They can dry out and irritate your eyes, which makes you more likely to get pinkeye.
Sometimes they can get really glued on to your eyes. I've actually freaked out when that happens to me.
Somestimes they move around and can lodge themselves in the upper part of your eye. Again, I've freaked out over this, but it rarely happens to me.
Overall, the annoyances of wearing contacts outweigh wearing glasses...at least for me.

Sometimes they can get a bit dry or tear, and there's always the annoying experience of dropping one on the floor and then trying to hunt for it. Other than that, though, I MUCH prefer them to glasses!

I prefer contacts to glasses. They are not really that hard to handle and care for. I don't like the look of glasses or the feel of them.

i haaaaaate putting them in and out! and its so damn annoying if you lose them *groaaaan*
buut, you forget about them the rest of the time. theyre practical cuz you can swim, anything. you can lie with your head turned on a pillow without a frame in your way, cutting into your nose.
and of course, for 99% of people who wore glasses, you look better! i am so much happier since i got them!
