is it possible to become pregnant 4years after tubal anything is possible i know but does anyone know of early detection tests that can give me a hint before i head out to the md. scary stuff and way to old. spotting and feeling miseerable anyone with help let me know thanks

It is possible to get pregnant after you've had a tubal ligation. It's possible for your tubes to "heal and repair" themselves after they've been cut and burned or cut and tied (depending on the type of surgery you've had. Most over the counter tests can give you an accurate reading anywhere from 1 to 5 days after your first missed period. If you take those and are getting a negutive reading you may be having other serious (or maybe not so serious) problems, and you should see your gynocoligist anyway. Also they can do other more conclusive urine tests to make sure that you're not pregnant before starting any treatments.

A co-worker of mine got pregnant with a set of fraternal twins 2 years after she got a tubal. This means not just one, but two eggs got through. I guess it was meant to be, but this was her 2nd set of twins.
