Honestly, for me.. i'm not dreading it, but i dont care too much for it. I'm single, and so it does kind'a make me feel awkward to see everyone with flowers, holding hands, kissing, wearing red, and just too many couples..lol I feel weird, like the odd ball around couples as it is, so this particular day i'm not fond of. I think i'm just going to rent a movie with my kids and stay home.

I will - being single means that I won't have to answer any awkward questions when I get more than one Valentine's card through the post and also I don't have to worry about rushing out and buying chocolates or something at the last minute. The single life is good believe me!

This is the first year in a long time that I'm looking forward to it. I think the cure for my past Bah-Humbug attitude is to help others ... so I'm babysitting real cute kids, making Valentine Worms, and eating chocolates. Mean while, my friends (their parents) will be able to have a romantic dinner --- I guess I hope in karma --- and realize that not every Valentines doesn't need to be huge, but my time will come ... yes, it will.

Well, I am not technically single, but my significant other is deployed at the moment. So, some other wives and girlfriends and I are getting dressed up and going out to dinner and watching chick flicks. I'm looking forward to it. Just cause my guy isn't here doesn't mean I have to sit home and feel sorry for myself.

I'm married now, but when I was in highschool I always dreaded it. Everyone would prance around with their roses and candies while I just sat there and hated the world. The final straw of my patience with the holiday broke when I turned around from closing my locker and was whacked in the face with some prep's roses. She didn't even say she was sorry. ;p

even though i'm not single, last year was the first one i wasn't single on. I still hate valentine's day.....maybe its because my boyfriend is in the army now..... all my single friends are like 'but you have someone'. I still hate this day. its too commercial. nobody knows about the real St.Valentine anymore.....its just all about gifts and such.

I don't think they will. What's so great about celebrating something you resent not being part of? I'm not looking forward to it...
Doesn't everything around you seem like it's discriminating you for being single? It sure seems that way to me! Everything around is ONLY for couples these weeks, when will it end??? :((
