First you need to get medication for the yeast infection, such as Monostat 7. For the outside of the vigina, creams and solutions work best, as they are absorbed in the skin and work longer. As for the soap, try using something with less perfumes and dyes, such as Dove. The perfumes and dyes in soap can actually cause the bacteria of the yeast infection to spread. Also, after showering, use a powder or a spray for yeast infections to limit the odor. If you are sexual active, try to avoid sex while you have a yeast infection. You can pass it to your partner and the medications will be ineffective.

You need to take medicine for your yeast infection, it's not washed away with soap.
Infections require treatment, like Difulcan pills you get from your doctor or an over the counter yeast infection treatment. Those over the counter treatments are located on the same aisle as tampons and pads.
You should only wash your body and girl parts with mild unscented soap, perfumes aggravate infections and creates irritation. Dove unscented soap is what most skin doctors recommend.

You could get monistat 7 at Walgreen's pretty cheap, but while taking the medicine don't have sexual intercourse. If that doesn't work go to the doctor and tell them you want a prescription of Diflucan (it is one pill that you take and it works within a couple of days).
