If you are naturally the weight you are, then you probably aren't too skinny.
However, if you're self-concious about it you could see your doctor and she might be able to perscribe something that promotes weight gain.

I have a friend that is obese and she can wrap her fingers around her wrist. That's not an indicator of a healthy weight. However, it sounds like you have a small frame if you also have slender ankles. So your weight will be on the lower end. If you ask your doctor, he can determine the correct weight range for your body type. For instance, a woman that is 5', 9" can weigh between 130-160 based on her age and bone structure. If this woman had a small frame, such as yours, she could weigh 130 and still be considered healthy.

are you healthy? I am 5'10, 140 lbs, and i can circle my wrist with my fingers, too. But i dont feel like im too skinny at all; Im pretty average. The important part is being healthy. Are you dieting and tired all the time? Then yes, you are too skinny. But if that is the normal weight youre body is comfortable at, then NO, you not to skinny. I have found in the past that people who make comments on others weight or body shape are often really more hung up on their own.

If you're sporting double-Ds and a booty to match, yes, you'd be too skinny. If you're eating healthily and not partaking in purging behavior (such as skipping meals, eating like a bird, abusing laxatives, exercising WAY too much, only eating low-cal food, etc), you should be fine. Some women just have small frames. You may want to ask your doctor for a professional opinion the next time you're in, though, so that you can make sure that you're healthy and such. It shouldn't take more than a few seconds of your time and you'd be able to tell people that tidbit the next time someone seems to view you as an oddity.

it is hard to tell because everyone is built differently we would need to see a picture because if you have a small frame that might be about where you need to be weight wise but it does sound a little on the thin side
as far as the fingers around the wrist thing I have a little over weight and people can easily wrap their fingers around my wrists too it is all in how you are built and carry the weight
if you are healthy otherwise I wouldn't worry too much if you are feeling poorly go to the dr.

You may have a very small frame, but that does sound extremely thin. What is the measurement in inches around your wrist? If it is less than 5-6 inches, you may be okay. Also if you are still in your early teens, then it is probably okay as you are still growing.

Only if you are starving yourself or throwing up or have an eating disorder, then it is bad. If you eat healthy and are just naturally this way then it is no big deal. You are just petite then. Try gaining about 10 pounds if you think you may be too skinny.
