first my phone started to just turn off randomly and now it doesnt turn on at all and the battery doesnt charge either. might be a stupid question but does it sound like there is something wrong with the phone or the battery?

the charger
the battery
or the phone
most phones if you plug the charger in will come up with chargeing screen
my sons one wouldnt charge and he had a phone with a flat type connector and if you looked in it with a torch you could see with the help of a eyeglass that the connecting prongs were out of alighnment carefully moving them using a large sewing needle realighned the wonky pin and it worked ok

It probably is the battery from the sound of it. Battery life on a mobile phone can be damaged if you don't charge it properly - i.e. if you stick it on charge everytime it's low rather than running it down completely now and then. You beter check though - Can you run it straight from the mains without the battery?

Your battery may no longer hold a charge. Try a new battery first and then hope your warranty is still good on the phone if that doesn't solve the problem.

Its because you didnt charge it and its just turned off by itself now. There is nothin at all you can do mate but to bring it back to where u bought it from and they will neither give you a new 1 or try to fix the 1 u have. Hope i helped!
