i want to thank the people who answered my wal-mart question. but i work there and the pay may suck, the health care may suck. but i stick to the policys i for one am not lazy i work my butt off i do stock and maintenance at the same time. my motto is " You are not working unless you are having fun! ". do you find that to be a plus in the wal-mart commuinity. ( i may not be able to spell that well but i am not stupid. )

Good for you. You are the very few that will work hard no matter what the pay is. If you can have fun while working it makes the job more rewarding and others around you may follow your work ethics. It usually doesn't matter how much you make, it's how much you enjoy working at the place. It also makes the business more appealing and worth shopping at.
I wish more people had your enthusiasm.

i work at wal-mart 1912 i work hard i have been off of work for three days because of the flu. but yet there are some people that dont come to work and are no call no shows and they get more and more darn chances but yet i was ripped a new one by my store manager and co manager. wal mart needs to treat there employees fairly and not discriminate against the ones that are only trying to do there job and keep food on there families table. as for prices not being on the correct items it is the dept managers job to make sure that there a shelf lables on the correct item and that the dept is fully zoned we try to achieve custome satifaction. we do need those sales if we want to bonus at the end of the year. i have worked for walmart for five years and i wish i can get the hell out of there because sometimes they dont care who they step on even when it is there most loyal employee.

I like WalMart. Only store in our area that has almost everything that I'm looking for.

If I can't find something, most of the time there isn't an associate near by so I can ask for help in looking. Once I find an associate tho, they almost always can bring me right to what I'm looking for.

Your motto is a good one. I have met people who think that way, and they generally are upbeat, positive people..One company I worked for insisted that our staff be outgoing and friendly, too. Couldn't even get hired there if you weren't. They ran a personality check right at the start. (Tropicana in Vegas)

THE CUSTOMER SERVICE STINKS!!!!!!!!
No matter which one I visit nobody ever seems to want to help or even ask if you need it.
This is why I usually shop at Target instead because there always so friendly and willing to help. I mean even when you ask for help in Wal-Mart you usually get the response (I dont work in this department) and thats it. Nobody even bothers to say let me get someone who does or anything. Its sad too because when you call a store you usually get treated like crap also.

Screaming babies of people who do not know how to raise their children----I am also sad that many of the Walmarts are losing their fabrics dept. One huge thing for me is also the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the space in the isles to get by another shopper---Good Luck!

The problem I have with Wal-Mart is that they do not have a union and they discriminate against their workers and basically treat them like crap.
That is why I will not shop there.

i dont like it when i find something not marked with a price, or its not in the right location without a price, then i can never find someone to tell me how much it is, becuase all the price checker things you have never work, so i just put it back and go to another store, or buy something else

The biggest problem I have while shopping is not enough money to do it properly. and that is not your problem
I do have a problem with too many people and not enough checkout lanes open, and I HATE those automatic checkouts!! Normally, I go later at night when the store is not so crowded.

Some of the items are not priced, and that really annoys me. The store loses a sale when that happens!

walmart tends to be a clean and helpful store

however, there are many items on the shelves with no prices

also, they are fun as I love to ride the kid bikes and pogo balls thru the store LOL---J/K
