I'm not sure about overpopulation, but on some sort of census or something, it showed that hispanics (mexican, South American, Cuban, Puerto-Rican, etc.) are now the majority. Caucasians are now a minority. My friend is half Mexican and her Dad is 100%. They have a problem against illegals. Most hispanics are treated better than whites, free education, free healthcare and benefits. My friend's family thinks that most are lazy and don't work hard at all and they are insulted and offended by them. I will never hate Hispanics, but due to Mexicans in general, a lot of the immigrants have come from high crime rate societies. My father was a police officer and a lot of the people he dealt with here by the border were Hispanics. I however do love the Latina cultures in general, I just have a problem with the ones who do not work and try to get things for free.

As my husband is Hispanic, I'm very glad that his ancestors came to the United States. Of course, when his ancestors arrived from Spain, it wasn't yet the United States.
Considering that he served over 20 years in the Armed Forces, I would say that he has done his share to serve this country.
Now, if you are talking about illegal immigrants, that is a completely different story. No matter what country or nationality they belong to, they are taking jobs from United States citizens and legal immigrants. In addition, our tax dollars are funding their health care, education, and (in some cases) incarceration.
So, while I'm not offended by your opinion, I hope that you will do some more research on the subject. I think that you might come to see things quite differently.

I don't think that illegal immigration is ever good, for the simple reason that they receive medical and other (welfare) benefits for free by not being taxed. Also by circumventing the minimum wage, more can be hired, but less citizens that would pay tax are not.
I'm all for people coming here and getting a new start and better live, but not at the expense of those already here. As a side note, many immigrants come here, learn the written and spoken language and maintain there heritage without causing products to be dual labeled in English and another language.

I got called a racist for asking an inoccent question about Mexicans, And some may think my answer to this question is racist, but........ No, I don't think they are "overpopulating America" but from what I see, which is that about 75% of the shootings, stabbings, child abductions, and other crimes in my area are commited by Mexicans, we must be getting a high percentage of criminals "imigrating" here.

Hispanics/Mexicans isn't that what you mean? They do have alot of babies.....But overpopulation I think NOT...They are free to pro create and usually the do not believe in birth control since most are Catholic and the Orthodox Catholic religion does not allow birth control.... its an education thing I think, not to mean they are uneducated but the Vatican should educate themselves and let the Catholics use birthcontrol! [that goes for all races not just hispanics.....]

It has to do with whether they are illegal or not. If they are illegal, then they shouldn't be here. They should be deported and the businesses that hire them heavily fined. Coming in legally, no problem. My family came from Italy in 1903 and assimilated. This country is built on immigration. LEGAL immigration.

I'm Hispanic and I don't really care if they overpopulating the U.S.... I live in motherload of hispanic people. I care if they are illegal though. I can't just go to another county and be a citizen. I think it takes time.
You just can't hate a group of people. We all came from other countries!

Yes. I think there are too many people in this country. We need to find a way to even out the population. That is, send people to areas where there are very few people. We'd have to figgure out how to get water and food to them, but it should be no problem.

Not offended, and please I hope I don't offend anyone.Yes I think they are over populating, taking over,no way.We as Americans will never allow that to happen. When we as a country see a problem,we will address it.whether it be through our military or as a society. We've worked to hard and lost to many lives to get what we got to just let it be taken by someone who has given or lost nothing.
