I'm playin pokemon silver on gameboy color and my dilema is that everytime I find an item with item finder I can't pick up the item I am currently in one of the two towers where the monks are and I think Ive found the rainbow feather that the monk is askin me for but item finder just locates stuff and I can't figure out how to pick items up help me please!!!!

Don't know this never happened to me...? Do you have enough Space in your Pack for the Rainbow Wing?

like everyone Else has said the item finder locates the items lying nearby. But the rainbow feather is given to you by the old man near mt. moon but still in pewter city. hope that tidbit helps you out.

The item finder detects hidden items that are within the screen. I don't know if your character faces the direction of the item or not when you use it. you have to search by pressing A then taking a step and press A again. repeat until item is found

i have silver but don't play that much anymore from what my nephew has told me to press the A button as i walk around in the burned tower & the tin tower give it a try. good luck :)
