how to close a company in california?

We opened a company in 2005 Aug and never looked at it after that as we got busy with our kids etc. We have not filed any taxes. Now I want to close the company officially. Pls help me.

Hang an out of business sign on the door, call the state and the feds and cancel the tax ID numbers. Give the final numbers to your accountant, earnings, losses etc,. ALL DONE.
