I'm married 17 years and my husband still talks the first time I sent him flowers at his job. I sent red roses with a yellow one right in the middle (for a bright future). He'll be the talk of the office or wherever he works!
It's fun -- do it!!!

It is socially acceptable. I however have a very good male friend who tells me he would rather have some cologne or a cool shirt and that he just does not see the point of flowers on Valentine's Day for a man. It really depends on the man because I dated one once who was so flattered by the fact that I sent him flowers that he went on and on about it for days. And no he was not gay LOL. So you know your husband well enough to know if he would like them and in this day and age we can send and do anything they would for us without there being a stigma. So I say GO FOR IT

Wow, he is a lucky dude. I could only wish my wife would send me some flowers. At least I get a card lol. I def don't get sex. I've been married 11 years also April 1996. Let me know when you and your man split up? I'd love a woman like you.

If money is the issue, try buying them yourself and hand delivering them. Put on a sexy little outfit and let him know that you are planning a special evening. Its cheaper than having them delivered and you might get his blood pumping a little quicker with anticipation.

I had flowers delivered at work once . . . it was sort of embarassing. People teased me about them, but in my case the woman was an ex gf. I think he would appreciate them, but it's too bad they don't deliver things like power tools instead.

It may not be free but it can be obtained elsewhere for much less than the cost of 24 roses, candy and jewelry.

Of course, I think it's a very nice idea. I was actually thinking it myself. It doesn't always have to be the man doing something.

If money is tight, flowers aren't the cheapest way to go.
But yes it's acceptable.

Sure. He'll be grateful to get anything from you. V Day is sort of a woman's holiday, so it's great that you'd do that for him.
