I told a girl how I felt about her. I told her how over the years she has been number one influence in my life. I told her I care about her and like her a whole lot, but I cannot date anyone right now. Anyway, she was flattered and suggested we allow our friendship to grow into good friends. Now, we can talk about anything, and I feel really close to her. We often have conversations with strong eye contact and block out the rest of the world.

Sounds like you are both very interested in each other but nither one is willing to make that next step. If you told her you can't be in a relationship, she is most likley waiting for the green light from you. Friendship is a very good way to build up to a relationship though. And don't be worried about ruining the friendship, by steeping foreward in the relationship because you will never know unless you try. Most people would love to have a b/f or g/f that was and still is a best friend, makes for a long happy relationship that can eventually end in marriage and more. Good luck, make that step, you only live once!

Why can't you date anyone right now? Are you already involved or married? Are you getting ready to go away for awhile and you don't want a long distance relationship? You really should have included the reason *why* you can't be in a relationship right now.

hate to be too honest, but good convos and eye contact could mean anything. and prob (sorry if i get this wrong) but if u liked her enough then you wouldv dated her at the time you told her. only you know how u feel, but nuthin uv sed indicates that she likes u as more than a frend, but even if she did, u tellin her that u cant date means she prob would never do anythin bout it anywat

U two might be in love but stay freinds, bc I'm now dating my best feind that I use to be able to say anything around and now I'm scared if I say the wrong thing that he'll leave me.... But i dont regret it bc I love Him
