Growing up it was what they were called. Were they upset that they didn't have something to be angry with us regular sized people about?

I actually didnt realize midget was offensive.
I know they say little people and all.
I think it would be hot to bag a midget girl, preferably an asian one.

I am not a little person, but I do think that "midget" was always offensive, they just put up with it for a while. A lot of hispanics here near Mexico call caucasians "honkies" and I'm offended since it seems equal to the "n" word against African Americans. I just don't freak because I don't hear people use that word that much. I would get sick and tired of it over the years...I think it was always hurtful, they just disguised it...

It isn't offensive.
If midgets don't like it they should quit exploiting themselves on every TV show, commercial and Movie. You run across a midget every day now in some form of media, and it's annoying. They shouldn't be allowed on tv just because they're a midget!
And it is not offensive, that is what they are! Accept it.
