I don't think there's much you can do about the parrot - he probably had a no pets clause, and as for the evening visits, it is his house.
I'd report him to the police about the biscuit thefts. If anyone put their hands on my Jaffa Cakes, I'd go ballistic!!!

can't do anything about the parrot but next time, try moving the rug to another area to confuse him and put the biscuit tin in the toilet to give him a shock. You could take legal action but the judge might be his brother.

In the UK people would be more sympathetic regarding the loss of your parrot. I think you should go to one of the tabloids with this story. You might be offered a place in the Big Brother House, next series, if there is one. You would live free for a few weeks, although I cannot say it would be safer, than your present circumstances.

no its animal abuse to set a bird on fire and im not sure if its legal to poop on your rug but you can go to small claims court if it was an expensive rug just take a picture of the rug and poop before you take it off and after you try cleaning the rug if your going to i wouldnt personally, and for the biscuts if they are in a tin buy then clean the tin off so when he touches it his will be the only fingerprints on it that or place a small hidden camcorder somwhere to show what he is doing

It is not a pleasant thing to do and is not legal. I hope the parrot is OK., You may be insured for the rug.

I would take him to court so fast that he would think that it was the day that he done this awful thing. I am so sorry about your bird, but I hope that you can find one that will help you through this awful time. When you take him to court get everything that you can from this awful man.

Has the parrot ceased to be?
Is it an ex-parrot or just pining for the fjords?

he should be arrested. what he is doing criminal and falls nowhere in landlords rights at all. I would also move or if its as serious as you say which i would find extremely traumatizing i would consult an attorney about suing him and who knows you might end up owning his property
