how do i copy one picture on top of another picture without the white background still being there, its doing my head in

Unfortunately, the white background is part of the image. You need some decent imaging program like Adobe Photoshop to create a TIFF or Gif version which can have transparent backgrounds, and then remove the white background.

Try using Adobe Photoshop, Paintshop Pro, or Microsoft Imaging software. They all have an option to merge pictures and to just choose an object in the picture without all of the background

You need an image editing program like Adobe Photoshop or Macromedia Fireworks. A free image editing is Pixia. Google it. :)

press ctrl C, for copy, and Ctrl V for paste, also, put it on the microsoft words, so you can expand it without any problems.

Microsoft can also make it colored, black and white, fade, disapper a little bit, or apper a little bit over words etc., so much on there.

Have you tried cutting it first freehand, then copy then paste
