I presume you mean the boss's wife. The secretary does not work for the boss's wife. The secretary should be respectful and keep in mind the wife holds a special (and influential) place with the boss. The best course is to just ask the boss. Will he always accept calls and visits from his wife even when he is busy? Above all, keep everything on a business level. It is normally not a good idea to socialize with the boss's wife outside the workplace or work related functions.
