Haha, I like this question. If the conservatives can make the argument that free speech endangers our troops and emboldens our enemy then sure, Rush is just as guilty. Of course your question elegantly makes the point that all free speech is a good thing and no matter how scary it sounds sometimes a true patriot will support it. Good question.

There is no harm in critiquing who's in power, whoever's in power. That goes for anything said about Bush, Clinton, or anybody. Why is it that critique for Clinton is held as right and then all of a sudden, Bush turns bulletproof?

Rush is just a blowhard, Bush's granpappy helped to bankroll Hilter during WWII and, althought they froze his funds, he got them back and never faced charges. On top of that, his friends in congress helped to OOPS "lose" most of the documents.

I don't think so. He's entitled to his freedom of speech just as anyone else. Neither you nor I may like his views, but it's a benefit of living in America that he can express them.
