i have a AMD based PC with 2.1GHZ CPU and 512 of RAM,and 256 MB graphic card.
can windows vista ultimate edition ran with my PC or not? even though the recommend requirement is 1 Giga of ram.

yes, you will be able to run Vista, but you will not be able to run the Areo (3-D effect)option in vista, other than that it will wirk fine.

It will run, but you will not get everything out of vista with your system. I would recommend adding some more ram to your system. I would also wait a few months before switching to Vista.

From what i am aware of if you try to install vista without the required amount of memroy it will not install. THe premium does require 1gig of ram to run. You can however run the home basic version of vista on 512 mb of ram.

Hi. Your best bet is to download the "Windows Vista Advisor" and run it. There are many more things to consider.

you can, but I will suggest strongly against switching to Vista until this time next year. It is riddled with flaws still. Read up on it some more and decide for yourself.

yep......i tested vista out on my other pc before i put it on my main pc.....my other pc has a celeron 2 gig and 256 megs of ram and built in video.......runs fine.......im running a amd 3 gig and a gig of ram w. a g-force video card ....all is well there to..theres been alot of complaints about hardware and driver detections w/ Vista.....i also have no problems there either.....DO NOT INSTAL A BETTA VERSION OF VISTA!!!!!!!!!

yea sure i developed window vista we just put that on there because people will u really low ram with them
