Will they have an Ethnic Candy aisle one day?
Will they tell me one day that they moved the Ethnic Shampoo aisle to the back of store and I can't shop in the regular Shampoos and Conditioners?

I think the name is alittle off, but I would not take it offensivly. Sure, you can use any hair types, but its just a fact that differnt types of people have differnt types of hair. Those hair types each have needs to take care of it. They do have special hair care products for black people, but also for people with curly hair, red hair, any kind of hair you can think of. There are also types of hair products with in the catagory of "ethnic shampoo"

I will say that have both Shampoo and Ethnic Shampoo on the sign is weird, its like they are saying it is not also shampoo. Having the spereate shampoo is ok to me, but not a sign like that over the aisle.

Who says you can't shop in the regular shampoo aisle?? Certain hair types requiring special hair products are associtied with particular ethnic groups. On the one hand I can see where you might feeel uncomfortable with the idea of "segregation", even in such a small matter. On the other hand it seems to me that having such products designed for your specific hair type all placed in one location rather than mixed in with the hundreds of other hair care products could be a real advantage.

Blacks use certain hair products that other cultures might not use. Honestly, do you use Herbal Essence, V05, Garnier, etc., or do you use Motions, Dark & Lovely, Revlon etc.? It's not really a big deal, just like it's not a big deal to have Kosher aisles for the Jews and Mexican sections, or Asian sections. I've seen all these and have never been offended.

it is a little funny....you said ethnic right...where there other ethnicities, not just African-American....where there hispanic shampoos? these are not really different from regular shampoos they are just hispanic products.Personally I do not see a necessity to put this label on shampoos.

Offended? No, I'd move to the next aisle or section.
