When it is really humid it is usually hot also, and you tend to sweat a lot. Because of the humidity your sweat cannot evaporate properly and that makes us uncomfortable - most people feel sweaty and dirty. It is also harder to breathe in deeply in a moist environment.

unless you are used to living in a humid environment you would be uncomfortable. Say if you live in Florida or Texas, etc they don't seeem to be bothered by the humidity, but say California or Arizona folks seem to feel really uncomfortable when the air becomes humid there is more moisture in the air and they tend to feel uncomfortable....Just like when you live in a humid area and the air becomes Arid [dry] then you would be equally uncomfortable

Hi, my name is Candy and to answer you question: The reason why you don't feel comfortable when its humid is because when you get cold for an example your goosebumps stick out and your nerves get all rattled up. Basically its to do with your emotions and your nerves but you can control it.You also exaggerate that you start to feel humid, you are used to it.

Because the body cannot cool itself properly. Sweating is the body's method of cooling itself, however, the sweat has to evaporate in order to cool the body. In humid weather, the sweat cannot evaporate because of the excessive moisture that is already in the air, therefore, the body cannot cool itself. And of course, sweat sitting there on your body and un-evaporated is icky and smelly too!

That only happened to me when I was bigger. Now that I'm a 3 it doesn't happen anymore. Maybe its not the jeans but your body? Try losing a bit of weight. And I don't mean that in an offensive way! I just know that it went away when I lost weight :]

It is a feeling your body makes you feel to prompt you changing your surroundings (i.e. to leave the humid place), as it is unhealthy for your body to be in too hot place.

Because it's really moist. Think about when you go into a sauna or go into a bathroom when someone has just taken a shower. It feels like you can't breathe and you sweat a lot.

Your body is soaking up some of the water in the air. It gets into your lungs and makes you feel terrible. It also makes the air feel warmer.

The moisture in the air causes you to perspire, the perspiration causes you to feel dirty, oily, and overall uncomfortable.
