I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.
The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.
Get started today!

I eat junk a lot. Junk to me is fast food tacos though (and pizza, I'll easily eat 600 calories worth of pizza in one sitting). I don't eat sugar or any forms of sugar (like maltodextrin, dextrose, corn starch, maltitol, etc). Refined stuff has been out of my diet for a while. When you take out ingredients like that... you can eat whatever you want. I like cooking the high calorie high fat stuff sometimes. King Ranch Casserole (whole foods version though), a good bowl of pasta, etc. I'm still a size 0/1 and only work out 3 times a week. I never count calories, and I have far from a fast metabolism. I don't really love food, but I really enjoy cooking (and eating what I cook yum!).
At the end of the day its calories in and calories out. Whatever is left gets stored or fed to muscle. My doctor put me on 1,600 to 2,000 calories a day. If I count, its to make sure I'm eating them all lol.

I think it's more about instant gratification, which so many people want and are used to in this day and age. You can either put in hard work: deprive yourself of tasty, unhealthy food and exercise so that you can one day be thin, which can make you happy, or you can have that junk food right now and be happy for a little while. Its so easy to pick the short term route.

I wouldn't want to be thin. It's not a good sign when it comes to health. I'm not fat (well most of me isn't fat) but I've been healthy for 49 years, seldom even getting a cold. Go ahead and keep your thin body but you're the one who will have all of the doctor bills I haven't.

I know that I would rather eat junk food!! It tastes so much better! Guess that's why I'm overwieght and have to go to the gym now!! But I am learning to eat smaller portions of my favorite junk food and exercise more!!

There's a saying that goes, "Eat to live, DON'T live to eat" - i quite like the saying because it is trying to tell us not to overeat and have a meaningless life that only involves food. Being thin is probably ideal for most people but for some people food is just something that makes them happy, something that makes them feel good (while eating...). So i guess that is why they do it. Such as drugs... people know it IS bad and illegal but they still do it because it takes them to a "happier" place, even if there are consequences.

I LOVE food, but I know how to cook healthy but with lots of flavor!! I've been a vegetarian for 10 yrs now and I truly believe that if people would learn to cook healthy, they could satisfy their cravings AND be healthy. However, I loves me some Taco Bell and I DON'T hesitate when I want me a 7 layer burrito and nacho supreme with no meat!!! MMMMM.

We love food that tastes nice and that is easy to make. Yes we love food. I don't love food though and i am thin. I don't eat that much and i would only eat to live. So yes maybe some people love food because food loves them, right? I used to love food. Counting calories takes a lot more then just putting the food in your mouth and swallow it.

I believe people get addicted to junk food and find healthy food boring as it doesn't contain the sugars and carbs and chemicals they are used to!! It can take a while to wean yourself off junk and junk food addicts aren't prepared to put in the time and energy.
You ever see 'Super Size Me'?
