St Augustine, Fl is one of the oldest citys in the US and there is supposed to be a lot of activity. We've been there a couple of times, no personal experiences but one wierd picture.
Besides that I would look into europe or russia. England, Ireland, France, Germany... there is a lot of brutal history. Good luck.

without a doubt....Savannah, GA. There are so many books and different ghost tours in the city that you would never get bored "Ghost-hunting"
