I am 24 years old. I was at a clothing optional beach on Saturday. I teach in West Palm Beach. I figured there is no way any students will be at a clothing optional beach. I ran into a group of 3 girls at the beach. They saw me lying naked on the beach towel. They are in high school. They were in their swimsuits. When they approached me, I was totally naked and they all were saying hi and kind of giggling. I got so embarrassed. I don't teach them anymore but now they saw me naked. What should I do?

Air Force beach I figure. If you have any pride about yourself, insecurities aren't going to change the fact you were there.

Be grateful that it was some of the girls you taught and not some of the guys. They would have probably done more than just giggle, and they may have hung around a little longer. Regardless, it is your right to be nude on a clothing optional beach, so don't worry about it. If anything they probably just think you are cooler now than they thought before. In fact, to break yourself of the embarrassment, I would go again this weekend and enjoy the tan. Chances are you will never see any of your students again. And if you do, they will just see you are human and enjoy a nice day at the beach like they do.

Just be comfortable and casual about it. After all, it is a clothing optional beach. You have a right to lay there in the buff. If you are comfortable, you contain the damage to your own self image. That is all that really matters. Do not live in shame, or fear of humiliation, for that is much worse than being seen naked where you are allowed to be naked. Just move on. On the other hand, it sounds like you may be skinny dipping too close to home. Go much further away if you are worried about being seen. Same advice applies it you get spotted again after this precaution.

I imagine some phone lines were buzzing Saturday night. But old news is always replaced by new news among the 18 year old set. Give it time and try not to fret about it. It happened, it's over, and the gigglers will move on to something else. As you have probably already thought, it might be wise to wear a suit at that beach in the future.

Just assume what you are and remember that they are still too young to have the same mature sense. Their reaction just showed exactly that. You did not commit any crime, nor offended anybody. So, keep your head up.

Ask yourself what were they doing there: trying to see a nacked man and being not free enough to be seen? I don't know, perhaps.

You have rights, and outside school, and even there, you are entittled to have your own privacy. So, smile, be glad that they had the oportunity, some how, to share a bit of freedom by being there. Who knows next time you will see them naked too...?

Relax. This is a mini-mini-minor incident. Be positive and if somebody comments, say ''Yes, I was there. And...?'' - with atitude. Do you see what I mean?

Why are you so worried? Are you embarrassed about your "size" or something? They knew they were at a clothing optional beach and expected to see naked men, they just didn't expect to see a "teacher" there, that's why they were giggling. I hope you gave them something good to look at. When you go to places like that from now on just remember anyone could be there and if you don't want anyone to see Mr. Dangles don't go to a nude beach.

you were within your rights to be naked. the fact that they were at a clothing optional facility is their business, not yours. if anyone else should find out, you haven't broken the law or committed any ethical wrongdoing. what you do on your time is your business, alone.
i am an elementary school principal. when i took the position i informed the superintendent, who, in turn informed the board of education, that my wife and i owned a cottage at a nudist resort.
since the resort is not that far from my school district, i have seen at least 5 people that i know from school or the community. nothing was ever said. i wasn't bothered by seeing them there. they were just as guilty of a wrongdoing as i was. but, a nude lifestyle, within a confined area, is not wrong. therefore, there's no guilt to be felt.

That is the only body you are ever going to have, so be happy with it, the trade in is dirt. Just be yourself, if you aren't a freaky pedophile, it's all good. The chicks new it was a clothing optional place, they were looking because that is what young people do.You are in the right and were just enjoying a day off, they were in the right and doing the same. nobody got hurt, no foul.

Invite them back when they're 18!

Just kidding, but I couldn't help but to say it. Like they said before, these kinds of girls always have something new to giggle about, they will be over it the next weekend. That's a hilarious situation though. Just laugh it off!

They're not your students now, are they?

You're an adult, you have a life, no big deal. What, they've never looked in a mirror before?

(I imagine this is actually the worst advice you'll get, so I figured I should let you know that right now).
