Married in 7 months...thats pretty quick. It all depends on each situation though. I would say it comes down to age, maturity, experience, and the overall situation.

I proposed to my girl after 7 months...but I am 29...I've been dating for over a decade and have a very strong knowledge of who I am and what I need in a woman.

Some questions to ask:
1. Have we had a BIG fight...not a little I am mad for a bit, but a relationship altering kind where one or both might have considered ending it. You need to see how the other person is going to handle those kind of adverse conditions.
2. How well do you know their family/friends?
3. Are you ready to give up A LOT of your freedom to be married?
4. Why do you want to get married after only 7 months?
5. Have you seen the person during their low times?

There are others but those should help you to understand if you are ready for a life changing relationship like marriage.

It is definitely not too early! My fiance and I "officially" moved in together at 7 months and were engaged by 9 months. Although before that we always stayed at each other's houses from the get-go! You just know when the feeling is right. You can feel it in your heart. When he is the only man you can imagine in your life and could not imagine it without him, then it is real!! Just make sure that he feels the same way about you! Although I've got my happy ending, I've also had my heartbroken a few times in the past!

No, it's not too early. My husband and I have been married for a month now, we were only together 4 months before we got engaged and 7 months when we married. When you meet the man you are supposed to be with, you just know. I honestly couldn't be happier. I love my husband and could not picture my life without him!!!!!

I think 7 months is not too early for an engagement, but that you should set a long time before the wedding. In my experience, 2 years is a really good time table to know if you are really compatible. You will see each other through the good times and bad, learn how each other copes with crisis and handles himself. You will have a better idea of if your truely a good match.

I don't think so. The reality is that you will never truly know a person 100% until after you are married to them. You can know them really well beforehand, but I think 7 months is adequate for all that you need to know in advance. Of course, a lifelong relationship will show you new things you have never known, but if you are happy with all his personality traits and are in love, go for it.

Good Luck!!

Not to early. I got engaged 6 months after being with my man, and 6 months later, we were married. I am still very in Love with him :)

I don't really think it is fair for anyone to tell you if seven months is enough time or not. Everyone has to make decisions like that for themselves, but what I can tell you is that you need to make sure that you can really spend the rest of your life with this person. Now a days people take marriage for granted. I would take enough time to make sure that the person I am going to spend the rest of my life with is as confident about the relationship as I am.

There are so many variables that it is impossible to really say how long a couple should be together before being married. I will say that if you have to ask that question, it's too early for you to consider marriage with your partner.

If it's true love....no matter how long it takes for your relationship before marriage...it will still lasts. Some have taken 5 or even ten years before marriage, and still split in the end.
