Not at all a viable candidate. The good news is, Hillary will need to smear him some to counter his political threat, which will get all the Je$$e Jack$ons out there crying the race card and will further fractionalize the Communist Party.

Maybe i'm wrong in what i've heard but i hear he wants to pull troops out of Iraq which would be a dumb@ss choice, no matter who makes president.
I would like a president like Bush. Who will make sure this country doesn't get hit again and finish what has been started in the middle east.
He's not black though, he's muslim, and i'm wondering if America is willing to accept a muslim president, rather than the traditional, Cauc. American. And i didn't know his middle name was Hussein, that's kinda creepy!
I'm not liberal at all, and i don't think we need another liberal leader. We need to finish the war or else we're going to get attacked again! We need capital punishment and the death sentence, and from people who i've known that are liberal, are against those.
I think we need to take a good look at the other candidates who are trying for president. I don't know much about Barack but i oppose a liberal president.

I think he's a viable candidate. He has the ability to work with people of diverse point of views. Considering the political climate in Washington these days, that's a novel concept. Can you imagine the White House with a centrist?!

Viable and you should realize he is because if he was not, the right wing spin machine would ignore him and would not already have tried to smear him. The garbage already started when Insight Magazine from the conservative leaning Washington Times published that he went to a madrassa and learned radical Islam. The bunch of hooey was spread by Fox News as well.
CNN debunked that and they had to backpedal.
He scares them.

If we forgive GWB for HIS drug use, we should forgive Barack for his.
I think he's a very viable candidate, and as a Dem, I'd rather see Barack Obama win the nomination than Hillary Clinton. I think Hillary is too polarizing, and too...shrill.

I don't know about a fad. He's making all the right moves at the perfect time. He's youthful, idealistic, inspirational, and intellectual. Regardless of his drug use in college and a Keyan-Muslim father who died when he was two years of age. Sen Brack Obama is making great strides to improve America and our very stainted image globally.
It's quite the JFK story for 2008 in my opinion...

I watched his speech ona Saturday and it was great. Very inspriational and uplifting. He spoke of reuniting our country and ending bipartisanship. I think this will go over well with Americans that are sick of partisan politics. Once hegets out there and starts connecting with Americans, watch out. The guy has a great chance.
