You should be checked into the hospital. The baby may come at ANY time. It's normal to be past your due-date, or even before your d-d.
Congrats. Best to you and your tiny one. =D

I was 5 days late with my second and also induced with my first, it does suck! The stress test is just like a kick count and heart rate monitor. If I remember correctly, they hook you up to the same monitors you have while you're in labor just to make sure that your baby is doing okay. I was 3cm a month before I was due, so thats pretty normal. They also stripped my membranes twice. You shouldn't be too much longer. Hang in there even though it's awfull and you just want to get that baby out!

Getting induced carries medical risks and won't solve any of your problems. That's pointless. Then you be getting evicted with a newborn - that's way worse than getting evicted while pregnant. You need to find a new place to live BEFORE the eviction date. Move in with your mom as soon as she'll let you - before the eviction. If she won't let you live there before the baby is born, will she at least let you move most of your stuff in so that you won't have to move things after the baby is born? Can you get a self-storage unit for a month and put your stuff there? Take the baby's father to court and get him to pay child support. Whether he wants to be with you or not, he has a responsibility to help support the child he fathered. Also, seriously consider giving your child up for adoption. It sounds like you are not in a situation where you are able to provide for your child. You don't have a job or a place to live - how are you going to take care of a child? Look around for other sources of support in your area. Is there a pregnancy support center or crisis pregnancy center? These places will give you counseling, often free baby stuff, and can refer you to other local agencies that may help you financially or help you find a place to live. Also try local churches.

Don't push! If you push before you are completely dialated, you can make your cervix swollen and that will not allow the baby to make it through! My sister went 8 days over last week and was induced and I think she wishes she would have waited until it happened naturally.
Having sex is a natural way to move things along. Not only does an orgasim help jump start contractions, but the treatments they give you to soften the cervix is made to mimmick semen.

Don't worry this is how it like specially if it's ur first baby. I had ababy 4 months ago and my contractions lasted one week and were very strong. My due date was on Sep. 29th and my contractions started on the 27th and my baby was born on Oct. 5th. On the 4th I went to the doctor and I was only 3 cent. dalated and she sent me to the hospital. The next day I had my baby. So dont worry I already know how it's like but u'll be fine.
Whish u the best. GOOD LUCK!!!

Aw ....... I know how you feel. Every day over your due date feels like a year. I think they want to check the stress of the baby. I'm sure you'll deliver very soon and then you can hold your new little one. You didn't tell us what the baby is? Boy or girl? And what will it's name be?

I was about three days over due when my doctor advised me to stimulate my nipples, it produces oxytocin, just like the synthetic potocin( that they give you to induce. Try rolling your nipple 15 minutes on each one, keep doing this and it's guaranteed to get you a baby! it worked for me, both times. Hope this works, good luck.

probably going to go soon. you can stay how you are for a ong time though. I hope you go soon. it's aweful to be over due. If you go for a long brisk walk it will help. The day I had my younger son, My 5 yr old insisted we go a "nature hike" in my back yard. 2 hours later...I was in the hospital! walking is the key!

Whoa, having your membranes stripped is really up close and personal. LOL..
I think you will be a momma in a few days. Once the urge to push is there, the baby is screaming 'Let me OUTTA here'...
Best wishes for you and your new blessing....

A stress test is to see if the baby is ready or something like that. Today may be that day. Good luck
