I got this one called stepone care but the firewall is driving me nuts if I turn it off will I still be okay or should I use another?

I am simply here to confur with the others who have said that AVG Free is the only way to go !!
Have it-- run it daily-- it recieves daily updates and is a booger bear against anything going on within your system on the virus thing--- it even scans out the Email for safer mail handlilng !!!
I had some VERY expensive alternatives that weren't near as good !! Go get it and ----relax !!!

Well, I can tell you that the IT pro's at my company told me about a free program called avg by grisoft.com.
I tried it and I like their free version better than McAffe which I have and Pay for.
It gives me no firewall problems at all.

I use AVG, Spybot S&D, Ad Aware SE Personal, I have McAfee firewall and to stop my browser from being changed by those nasty smiley websites, 'SpywareBlaster' is brilliant!!
