Please someone tell me why is this important?

I don't support the man - didn't care much for his comment that the Human Rights Act should possibly be "abolished" - so I wouldn't vote for him.

However, on a scale of 1 to 10 - this revelation about him smoking Cannabis when he was 'still wet behind the ears' rates about -50 in my book - does anyone else agree?

Why do they think people in public office should have to have a glowing halo above their heads?

What was it someone said once about 'casting the first stone'?Oh! yes Christ I believe!

Does he smoke Cannabis now or sell it in the House of Commons - if the answer's NO then why on earth does it matter so much that he did (smoke it I mean - not sell it in the House of Commons) way back when?

Afterall the man's never DENIED that he did, instead choosing to say it's his personal business - and I think he's right. If he'd denied it before then of course he'd be a liar and not fit for office - wouldn't you say?

I think I agree with you mostly. Many of us did "questionable" things when young, the question should not be did someone act like a kid when they were a kid, but did they grow up?

Sounds like you've smoked way too much reefer along with opium laced hash. All indications are there. There is help for the drug addicted.
