I don't really have bad acne but I do have the occational outbreak.
I started useing dial antibacterial soap because i ran out of my acne scrubbie shower stuff, but i'll be damned if the dial hand soap works really good. And its only a couple dollars instead of 8 or 9 bucks for the acne stuff....
Has anyone else tried this? it really seems to work great!
If you have'nt, try it in about a week your skin will look great!

Just remember to use a moisturizer everyday even if you have oily skin. You can get an oil free moisturizer for your face and use sunscreen. Trust me you will thank yourself when you are older! I am in my 30's and wish I had known what I know now! If you do get a zit don't pick and squeeze-you will get scars which aren't pretty! Go to a dermatologist and ask about getting a tool that applies even pressure around the zit or blackhead and pushes it out of your skin without the trauma to surrounding skin. I actually am a Mary Kay consultant and I have tried everything there is over the counter and for me Mary Kay is the only thing the helps keep it in check. We are all different though so do what works for you. Just Please Please remember sunscreen during the day and moisturizer at night.

I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!

Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:

1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn’t use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured…if we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don’t want us to know.

There is a great website: http://acnehomesolution.com/index.html that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.

Antibacterial soaps can be very drying so be careful when using it on your face on a daily basis. You should really use a soap that is meant for your face. A great soap is actually not a soap at all but a facial cloth, it's Oil of Olay daily facials and they are great. I have much fewer breakouts since I started using them.

Yeah, antibacterial soap does work better to fight acne. It's much easier, too, because of instead of half a dozen stupid steps, you only have to apply, scrub breifly, and rinse. That's it. Actually, it's better for your skin if you use acne medication every 2 or 3 days instead of every day.
