How much would i need to pay at the B/D/M's office to find out if someone has died? Can you also find out exactly how they died?

Certificates cost an average of £7.50 at your local register office, if you have the date the person died and their full name its generally easier for them to find it, the death certificate usually has the cause of death on it.

To get a copy of the death certificate should only cost a few quid (<£10) I'm pretty sure this will have a cause of death, but won't go into any detail...
