Baseball is the game of the United States, we love football but we stay with baseball because each pitch plays out the ultimate test of man, we have created softball, slow and fast pitch so that we can continue to play, we have boys and girls little league, we have age groupings all they way through age 19 because we love to play and we understand the individual challenge and the team concept each doing his part for the good of all. I am a fan because it is our game and our passion, yes it is sometimes slow and even boring but like life itself it sparks into excitement and creates an adrenaline rush that can be identified by practically every American.
Yeah, I'm a fan and a big fan of this game.

I live in Guatemala, but that does not constitute an obstacle to go to the US every year to watch at least one baseball game live. It does not care if it´s the Marlins against the D-Backs, one baseball game is all i ask about. And the price of the tickets? Because i want great seats, i pay anything, even US$200 dolars per ticket. Of curse, i see the game at first row, or in the first 10 rows over home or near 1B.
And in Guatemala, i have the extrainnings package, and record every Yankee game in YES.

my grandfather was a batboy for the ***** leagues, I have close to 7,500 baseball cards that I've collected since I was a kid, I played baseball in High School in which my coach played for the Washington Senators, I played center, my coach taught me how to play like Mickey Mantle. I have real baseball patches from those early days, I have quite a bit of original baseball brochures and bulletins from the stadiums from the 70's, I have drinking glasses of the Dodgers from the 70s early 80s, I have the 12" dolls of Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, Ty Cobb, Honus Wagner, etc etc, this is only half of what I got.

I still love baseball after the strike, I am a Milwaukee Brewers fan even through losing seasons, and most importantly of all I hate the Yankees.

I very seldom miss the world series and I never miss watching baseball games. I think if baseball was a 16 game season like football it would be more popular. go jays go. :) lol

I live in southern California, but I buy tickets to every time the Cubs play the Dodgers. I even fly out to Chicago so I can get tickets to games at Wrigley Field, and I fly out of Southern California about 6 times during the summer to go to games at Wrigley. I spend almost all of my vacation days in March to go to Mesa to see Cubs spring training games. I'm a die hard Cubs fan forever. GO CUBBIES!!!!!!!!
