yes ,sourav should be retained as the captain of indian cricket team......sourav has a record of winning more than 50% of the matches as captain....and this record nobody has in indian cricket team............sourav is much more aggresive ,talented,offensive as captain whereas dravid lack these qualities and has been visible to everyone....... i wish if sourav would have done captaincy in world cup instead of rahul dravid..............

Yes Sourav is the best Captain at any point of time. Given a chance to lead the world cup team would have given a better result.

Why Sourav? What is wrong with Dravid? Anyhow Dravid is elected as Indian Captain for the world cup. Luckily Sourav got a birth in the squad.

We may blame Sourav Ganguly for any number of reasons, though there are very few existing at present. But one thing nobody can deny is that he has been India's most successful skipper ever. Apart from possessing a never say die quality, Sourav had the ability to lift the spirits and bring out the best in his boys when he was the Indian captain. Rahul Dravid visibly lacks in these qualities. His performances as captain including the latest one dayer against Sri Lanka at Rajkot clearly show that he fills the captain's slot only, but doesn't fit it. So Sourav should be definitely reinstated as captain.

sourav is more a winning captain than dravid. if INDIA needs the WC. sourav's potential as captain is needed too. so, i think , he's the better than anyone in the team now. sourav has the leadership quality and an aggressive nature more than any other indian captains. so, lets opt for SOURAV as our captain to lead TEAM INDIA in the world cup.

Look at what happened to Sehwag and Laxman after naming them vice- captains! I think Ganguli will be the captain eventually ( as soon as Chappell leaves) but not during the world cup.

I strongly feel that there is aboslutely no reason to change the captain for the world cup.
