Check the entry requirements of the institutions where you want to study to see what they ask for - they often have different requirements for mature students than for those straight from school.

There are many 'access' courses available which are designed to get mature students back into studying, prepare them for University, and provide them with a suitable entry qualification; so this may be the way to go.

Good luck with your studies!

I have been interested in criminal profiling. I have been looking into different courses and if you want to study to aim for a degree then it depends on how you are going to do it. if you are going to university then yes but if you are going to do it through open university then no because you study introduction courses in that area that get you ready for the main one. you earn points from the start that all add up for your degree. ICS also does not require gcse's again you study at the introduction level upwards. good luck
