Greylady, this has nothing to do with the government but with the people that hate it.

Well, they didn't get them for talent. The Grammys have become as politically charged as the Oscars (Michael Moore's fraudulent 'documentary' award) and the Nobel Prize (Yassir Arafat's Peace prize). Same reason too - someone in charge thought that making a short-term statement was more important than preserving the long-term integrity of the process.

You gotta be kidding. The grammy's have not in any respect been about awarding worth music. I advise even as human beings from American Idol are considered its a finished comic tale. i don't love the dixie chicks yet a minimum of they're gifted singers and gamers. There songs purely blow. And to all those human beings announcing the voters are liberal you do not recognize what your speaking about. no longer to indicate public populartiy has no longer some thing to do with triumphing the award. So this album sales argument and the actual undeniable reality that there no longer performed on u . s . radio skill no longer some thing.

first off, the Grammys became irrelevant when they gave Grammys to MC Hammer and Milli Vanilli. Not all in the music industry hate George Bush. Toby Keith is a supporter among others. However, we DO have a very unpopular prez in office right now. Don't think the 2 go together.

I should think they won them on their own merit not because the music industry hates George Bush. The government is NOT infiltrating everything around us like that.

No, it wasn't for political reasons. It was because the Chicks have talent and all the other nominees stunk, except for Corrinne Rae Bailey.

it was COMPLETELY political, i like many different kinds of music including country and there new songs aren't even good, people don't care to hear them especially country music fans, there songs are hardly requested and there just plainly not cared for anymore, there new album is just songs about whining, i'm sure they know that they would have never received those awards if the fans would have got to voted, it was just a bunch of smoke blown up there butts, the fans know what those awards were about and so do the other nominee's who got robbed, when will singers and actors know that we don't care what they think about politics and to keep there opinions to themselves!

Yes, without a doubt. These awards are silly anyway. Way too many stupid award shows.
