and no smart a* answers please. ok i was leaving to go get into my moms car to leave for school and i opened the passenger car door. and i stepped back cause my mom has an suv and its a little garage. and its a tight fit and stepped back to doget the door and WHAM! it slammed into my firehead and now i cant touch my eyebrow with out it feeling like its on fire. and my mom let me stay home but is there anything i can do for it . its swelling :(

Put ice on the injured area, 20 minutes on 20 minutes off. You can take a NSAID, such as Advil or Alleve to help with the pain and it will also reduce the inflammation.

You should apply an ice pack and maybe take a pain reliever. Lie down for awhile.

Ouch - I would try ice and take it easy for a few days. Since most people use their eye borws for expressions you might avoid frowning or scolling - I am sure you already knew that though.

You need to put ice on the area. Also take some pain meds for the pain.

Put ice on it or something cold or something. If it continues to hurt too bad I might even go to the Dr.

aside from ice and some painkillers, I'm not sure what to recommend. Hopefully it goes down and feels better soon, though
