We talked a little before but that was about it. we aren't friends, but I think she might be expecting somethink on valentine's day. we both like each other. I need some ideas: I want to get flowers, but they might die quickly, so I need a gift that can last at least 2 days.

I of course will add a poem, how do you like it:
Listen to my heart when it speaks.
Don't criticize my physique.
Talk to me about your day.
Surprise me sometimes with a bouquet.

Speak softly in my ear.
Tell me what I want to hear.

Surprise me with a special date.
Tell me I'm your soul mate.

Confide in me what you believe.
Promise me you'll never leave.

you aren't in a relationship yet, save that poem. And do get her a flower. Not a bouquet. Just buy her a rose. And Ask her out. But definitely don't give her the poem that would scared me away.

That poem is way too much ... go with something more light hearted:

Here's something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:

Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!

The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.

How do you know if she likes you back if you aren't even friends? Shouldn't you at least try to hold a conversation with her over a cup of coffee first? Then again, if you're shy or something, send her a foil balloon (the helium ones but made of foil with nice wordings and pictures) or cute card that says "I'm shy but I'd like to get to know you more." Nothing too serious yet.

Don't give her the poem until your in a relationship. Ask her out to dinner...Maybe even make her dinner at your place. And explain to her that you like her and would like to get to know her. And you may want to her a rose for while yawl are having dinner and maybe even some candy.
