Just curious, because I spend so much a week on groceries that I can't afford to eat out also.

It depends if you buy a lot of groceries every single week or if you're just picking up a few things.
If you're buying a carriage of groceries every week it's understandable that you can't afford to go out to eat also. Not many people can.

I do both. It helps that my husband owns a resturant so we eat out there once a week. Other than that I clip my coupons and can usually eat out for about $10 with my 3 kids. It's the dollar menu at McDonalds or Burger King, or Arbys.

I'm lucky to work around food so I can take leftovers home. That saves me a lot on groceries. And we eat out probably two or three times a month.

No, I don't for several reasons. First, it's so expensive to go out to eat I find it economically unreasonable. Second, I like to cook. (My username on the 'net is "THEBAKIST")
"BAKIST" is a neologism of mine which I define as "one who is involved in the science of baking" as opposed to a "baker" who is more concerned with the "art" of baking.
For over 10 years, I have supplied both my family and several stores with homemade bread. As you might know, yeast, being a living organism requires certain environmental conditions to become and remain active. I have enjoyed the process of checking the barometric pressure, humidity, and temperature in order to assure a consistent product.

I prefer to cook and eat at home then to go out to eat. I only go out about once a month.

i know what you mean.after i get done buying the stuff i need at the grocers,i dont have the money to go to fast food,buts ok,i would rather fix my own stuff,but its nice once in a great while to go out and eat.

Nope. I usually eat at home. I can make most dishes that are at restaurants...so why bother.
