What do you do when you are sick, but are scheduled to work? Do you drag yourself out of your sick bed and go to work anyway. You get there and they say:"Thanks for sharing your germs!." OR You stay home and they say: "Gee, thanks for making us work short!" What is a girl to do???

I work with food in a hospital. So if I have a fever, or anything that might be contagious, I HAVE to stay home. Even if I don't particularly feel sick. Just like last week. something was wrong with my eye and it was swollen and itchy. You don't want someone like that around food.
I know what you mean about the others complaining that they had to make up your work for you. It makes me feel really guilty too. But if they were sick, it's what you'd have to do. So don't feel so bad. It happens to everyone.
