Well they say that Mondays are hard because you go from using your right side of your brain that is creative that you use most of the weekendto the left side of you brain which is not, that you use during the week. The transition is hard because we do not want to go to work or school. It is something that we must do though.

I think that each day is exactly what you make it. Attitude has a lot to do with bad days. You had a great weekend. Busy all the time......Monday comes and you want to stay in bed not go to work, school or wherever. Now before you even get started you are mad, sad and tired. Get out of bed hit your foot on your bed, step on a belt buckle and fall over. The day did not do this Your lack of enthusiasm (and your messy room) did
I could keep on going but the key issue is attitude.
If you can get up to go do weekend activities you can do it Mon-Fri. Look at things in a positive way and it makes a difference in your day.

When I was younger someone would say, be more positive to which I replied I am positive that I am failing this test :>)

It's just the change in habit that makes Mondays unacceptable. If we all started working again on Tuesday there would be posters and coffee mugs about hating Tuesdays. Try thinking "if Mondays weren't so bad, would Fridays be as great?". You can't change the day, but you can change how you look at it.

Mondays are always awful. The best way to have a perfect one is to stay in bed! Although I have been a bit ill, its been a really nice peaceful day!

I have had a pretty good monday.

I think it all depends on how your weekend goes. If you have a weekend where you have relaxed, then your monday will probably be ok, because you can concentrate on your days task.

And it helps if you like your job!!
