Yes it does. That is why it is promoted.
Take a look at Iraq. There is a perfect example of multiculturalism. Muslims who identify as Shiites or Sunnis, rather than as Muslims, or Iraqis.
It is the old Divide and Conquer. It is how politicians control people. Remember, in unity there is strength.
Why should people dwell on what separates them? Isn't it better to accentuate what we all have in common?

No. Ignorance and superstition lead to hatred and violence. I'm a white American and my wife is a Hindu from India--my family is multicutural and we have no violence at all. I think it makes things interesting to have people from different cultures hanging around together. People of the same race beat up and kill each other all of the time-having one race or culture doesn't guarantee peace.

No, its ignorance and the intolerance to accept differences. Stubborn, close minded people are the causes of hatred and violence. Why should I change to be accepted by someone different than me? Why don't they change to be more like me so I can accept them? Its resistance from all sides.... I don't expect anyone to have to change to fit in, I love diversity of races and ideas... It'd be a really boring world if everyone were alike, that's Communism.

In some certain parts it does - it is hard for people to change and accept different cultures in their society. It is happening all over Europe and The USA, mainly between Christians and Muslims. This type of conflict will fester until it gets out of control.

Absolutely "YES" it is one of the greatest monsters our government has ever allowed to happen in this country, and it will be immigration that will be the downfall of our society.
