Lately, like the past 5-6 months my husband has been spending an awfull lot of time on his computer (we have his/her computers). A couple of times i have had opportunities to get onto his computer and look at his history and it's always been erased. I walked in on him once and saw a picture of a naked women on the screen and when he realized i was in the room- he quickly logged off. when i asked him, he said it was a practical joke email.

How can i be for sure what he's doing? Is there any way i can look on the history/cookies to see where he's going for sure? What are some of the websites he could be going on to meet women like this?

You could always go with the option of finding out what websites (myspace is a good place to look) that he has been on or if he has other email addresses. Pretend to be someone else, contact him as if you dont already know him, and see how far you can get him to go. It works like a charm

Let me get this straight. Your Husband has been dating and meeting chicks from online for FOUR years and you are still with him?? Where I come from.. that's called cheating. He sounds as though he doesn't respect you at all. Why do you continue to believe that after four years of being unfaithful to you.. he will change?? There isn't anything happening in the bedroom because he's out giving other women his attention and time. Wake up..and move on.

Get on his computer and log on. Click on "Tools" on the toolbar. Then scroll down to "Internet Options" and click on that. You should see "Temporary Internet Files" and then go from there. If he has erased his history, then he is probably deleting his cookies too as a double precaution. Sounds to me like he is addicted to porn, which even though that isn't actually meeting women online, it does hurt a marriage.

You need to talk to him and tell him that you suspect he may have a problem with addiction. I can tell you right now, he isn't going to like the "little talk". And he will even deny it. But you stick to your guns, honey, and stay on top of this. I'm sure he doesn't want to risk his marriage over some nasty naked women he looks at on the computer. No man wants this kind of confrontation with his wife. But he needs to wake up because this is hurting YOU, the woman he has made a life-long commitment to and I do consider this adultry - - - since it does deal with lust.

Focus on the Family discusses porn addiction some on their website. I highly recommend you checking them out. Just type "porn addiction" on their search box.

Thank you for asking, I will be watching these answers as well.

The only problem I have is that my husband is a computer GENIUS. He is the Principal Security engineer and Developer at a Security Software Company, and all of his computer doings is password protected....Bummer for me who is completely clueless... all I know is CTRL H brings up history, but if it has been cleared, I am not sure how or if it can be recovered

Your husband probably IS looking at online porn and chatting with other people on adult websites BECAUSE HE'S BORED WITH YOU! Unless you tell me that your sex life with your husband is absolutely amazing and that he shouldn't have ANY complaints, then why would you care if he's whacking off to some porn or chatting with people online?

I always crack up at all the women who come in here and complain about their husband's suspicious behavior when THEY are the ones who have the power to change it all! So before you and other women like you start getting all offended about your husband's online activities late at night or early in the morning, maybe you should ask yourself what drove him to that in the first place. I am willing to bet that most men would prefer to share their fantasies, explore their sexuality, and have sex WITH THEIR WIVES a couple times a week instead of waiting for them to fall asleep so they can satisfy their needs online!

oK women, here is what you can do . Download and install a software called GOLDEN EYE. It will log whatever ur hubby types and screen shots every minute. It also runs in the invisble mode so no noe knows its there. You can set a password to it , so that only u can make it visible. DO that and you can even print out copies of what he typed and viewed on the screen.

Happy SPYING !

If I didn't know how to get into the history/cookies I'd hire someone that did. And that husband better hope they don't find something on his computer that will piss me off.

Come on give the guy a break...so what if he's looking at some porn, it's harmless.

If you think he chats with a woman or more then you should talk to him and see whyhe does that.

Controlling him and spying on him isn't the way to fix things, it might drive him away from you...be his friend instead and then maybe he will tell you what's going on.

Finding evidence against your husband isn't really what you need to do. You need to have a frank discussion with your husband and make him aware that you know, and you don't appreciate it. You need to set boundaries for him and let him know that you will leave him if you find out about any infidelity. If this doesnt change, then leave him.
