A liar will always be found out in the end, may take a long time but it will happen and also a lier will fall into there own trap so be aware.
You will not get a lier to tell the truth as it is an Obsession like a habit and they will and do get a buzz out of doing this but also can be very dangerous for them and others without knowing it.
Try saying when you tell me the truth i will listen otherwise stay away. when the truth is heard it will link up like a story when its a lie it will be rubbich and you will notice this.

Let's all be honest. So, is there anyone around who can truthfully say "I have never" or else "I never tell a lie" under any circumstances.
Basically we are all liars in certain circumstances, as that is the only way to protect ourselves in certain situations. So if we deny being a liar, that proves we are a liar? But there are some who very rarely tell lies and others who habitually do so.
The only way to make a liar tell the truth is to somehow or other make it worth their while to tell the truth. But exactly how you do that depends on the circumstances and situation that motivated them to tell or write the lie.

Most people who lie do it to protect themself. Unless this lie is going to lead you to jail (then give the police his name) or until they have reached their goal. I would first walk up to him and state that you believe (not that you know) that is not telling the truth (do not use lie) that you had thought he had more integrity, but now you know
Tell the person that the next time you see him that it will be to tell the truth about the situation
but until then you do not want to see him again.
This dumps it all in his lap, your continuing after him is not working so drop it.

Reverse Psychology them. Eventually you will back them into a coroner and then they can't help but tell the truth.
