Well, according to the definition of terrorism, the left, by far. (Tupamaros, Montoneros, Sendero Luminoso, Túpac Amaru, M-19, FARCs,...). You can consider that the right commeted "terrorism of state", though, in many times, it was a reaction to the leftist terrorism.

I'd say it was evenly matched: guerrillas on the left, and death squads on the right.
