Go for it. I personally like to wear 8 layers of clothes in clashing colors but I have the excuse that I have lived many years in the tropics so the cold in Connecticut drives me crazy.
So I can combine layers of clothes, gloves, even scarves, any strange way I choose.
So there, all you squares!!!

Sounds like a bit of a fetish, could be very odd if someone slaps you while your winding her dress strap of long hair up.
