Alright, Do you think a sophomore guard who puts up great numbers in games can be recruited into a division one college?

Here's the catch though, the sophomore guard is in a small Christian school that's not recognized at all and he wants to go to a division one college.

It's a long shot. There's just too many schools, players, ect for the D-1 schools to be checking out.

The best I can come up with is for you to get into a D1 school that (1) matches your skills and (2) needs a better guard. Then you try out for a walk-on position. Another approach to attend a community college which is regularly visited by recruiters. There are two-year schools out there that talented players attend so that they can improve their academics to qualify for admission into D1 schools. If you're better than the players the recruiters have come to look at, you'l definitely have a shot.

Write and Invite some division 1 college recruiters to your games. pay for their entrance and note which players they should look for. The only other hints I can give you if this doesn't work is to transfer to a division 1 college that recruiters visit often. Get to know who the recruiters are. Trust me if you got game/talent/skills the recruiters will recognize. You gotta get your name out there.

Cheif your only a sophmore .. (not doubting your skills) take it easy. But I think recuriting is more on your coach and scheduleing. The coaches in college should be talkign to him and he should be talking to coaches ....
