dont worry not all women are shallow... the right person will come along ( i know that's a cliche') but i guess it is true? ye i don't have a boyfriend and im not bothered ..celebrate being single on valentines day! .. by the way there really can be no suggestions to your question because there is nothing wrong with you at all ...just seems to me that there is a load of shallow women that you end up speaking to.
=)

I am alone but not lonely because my life is rich with my uni work, my dogs, and mates.
I have to admit there are some shallow people out there, male and female, and because I do have the desire for more than some surface thing, I am not actively looking.
I believe the right one will come along in the right time, like when I am finally making money!

Physical attraction is very important in a relationship, but in order to satisfy both your emotional/mental and physical needs you need to know what you are looking for. Try branching out more, give "less" attractive people a shot, see how it turns out, do a comparison, and narrow down your fields so that you can find the perfect equal and opposite you have always desired.

Don't go so much for looks next time. Try and find a girl with a good personality instead. I know a heap of good looking, wonderful girls though, so you can find them if you look hard enough. Don't worry about Valentines day so much, too much pressure and it's a let down for most. Even me and I'm seeing somebody.

How about meeting some women who are not so beautiful? Or going to places where shallow women would not normally go to?

Try not being so shallow as to go for just looks. Try talking to an intelligent woman - beauty is only skin deep and you normally find the beautiful girls have only time for themselves xxx

Be confident. Don't hide in your shell, get out, meet new people.
At work, talk to your female colleagues. I'm sure this will allow you to be more open and you'll be able to date the girl you want.

It's probably because you spend a lot of your time blowing more than just a trumpet.
