I've just bought a new washing machine as I had problems with my old one. My clothes used to come out, steaming and hot to the touch on a 30 degree wash! I've done a couple of washes with the new machine and have got the same problem!!! Any ideas what's the matter??

Is the machine connected to the hot supply only? Otherwise check that any pair of taps are delivering the right way round by feeling the pipes.

It's possible that the problem is actually your water heater temperature, which regulates the temp of the water in your entire house. When you turn on the hot water at your faucet or shower, does it get scaldingly hot? If so, I would ask a friend handy-man/woman to help you adjust the temp on your water heater or boiler. Good luck and hope this helps!

Are you plumbed into the hot water only ?

Most modern machines are cold fill only.

I think your cold pipe to your machine might be blocked.

Think you have got the answer many times. SOunds like you are linked up incorrectly. Phone Curry's if they connected it and ask them to come and check it out.

It's probably plumbed in wrong, it sounds as though it is drawing water just from your hot water supply and not your cold - check the hoses and taps.

just turn the hot water off when you don't need it and then only the cold can come out

Sounds like your service lines are crossed.

Try hooking them up opposite of what you have now.
