Ok, I don't hate the Chicks but 5 Grammys!!! They won for best COUNTRY album. I didn't think they wanted anything to do with country music anymore. What are some of your thoughts?

The Grammy's are so far out of touch with the Country genre and fan base that it really doesn't matter who they pick. They've got no credibility when it comes to anything other than the previous month's Top Ten.
I wouldn't be surprised if they gave the Grammy for best Hip-Hop single to Will Smith.

Tis true but, I think a lot of hype came from them speaking out against the war and since everyone mostly everyone is so anti-war right now and we want a revolution stop the war they won. Which is fine I think that their album has a lot of substance, and I am glad someone's album with substance won over someone else's album, but at the same time I can see where you are coming from country yeah I know but hey thats life.

I don't listen to country music but I heard all about the controversy. Maybe the Grammys feel a little bad for dissing them. Everyone has a right to voice their own opinions. Dixie Chicks got a lot of backlash for expressing theirs. They will sang country music. It's in their blood.
