It's very kind of you to refer to them as good and kind, however, you are forgetting who went in and started the chaos to begin with. We did. Do you really believe that the average Iraqi wants to be killed in a bombing, wants to be a victim of sectarian violence, wants to be caught in between American and 'Insurgent' fighting? I can only imagine how we would respond if someone invaded our country (even with a dictator), took over our neighborhoods, created an environment where hositility would eventually erupt, destroyed our infrastructure, our economy......the list goes on and on. I don't believe that they want violence any more than you or I do. I would say that an average Iraqi is frightened, frustrated and feels helpless to stop the carnage. Even the people sent in to protect them can't do it. We opened up a 'can of worms' that is going to be difficult to close. There are centuries old tensions that we can not even begin to understand. I do understand your confusion but you have to take a broader look at the entire situation and then apply it to your own life. It's very sad.

I have been to Iraq before and during the war. Each time I spent no less than 1 month there. There are two kinds of people. Either Very Oppressed or Very oppressive. The only people I found to have any rebellious potential were the Kurds.
This is what should happen now and should have happened before if stopping terrorism was the ONLY reason for liberating iraq. I do not beleive so. I think that we are still there and will remain there to protect US Interests. What should happen is this

Withdraw all US Solders from police action and have them protect ONLY us companies and civilians working there.

Give weapons to Kurds aim them towards the syrian, turk and iran borders and whisper the word genocide so that the leftists can not hear it. Otherwise our weak president will apologize again for another Abu Ghraib.

After the Kurds decide who the mercanaries are hire the French Foreign legion and once a month drop more weapons in ONLY BY AIR and let the Legionarries and Kurds finish the job. In 6 months the borders wil be patrolled and the terrorrists will be afraid of entering Iraq. Then send Kurds into Iran - with AK 47's nothing tracable as american and let them slaughter the government. You will see that many of those Iranians want western conveniences.

I make short and simple
what everybody see in Iraq and Iran
today I believe is just the beginning of a global war

there is to much wickedness in this world right now
and to many angry people with not future

plus you have to count the unpopular wars
around the globe not big enough to be consider
from the News Media

sure for many people the best way to deal with this is
to hide the head under the sand and pretend
the bad think of the war it will never reach your land
your home well people are better to get ready just in case
because soon or later is coming!!
